Re: Talking bad against ministers
I am not for HMH at all. I think it does way too much damage! I don't think it should be allowed to be taught..not at all. What I meant was do you all think that he is allowed to preach it because leaders say "oh, he means well.." or are they just turning a blind eye?

Re: Talking bad against ministers
To question the uncut hair doctrine and the great prophet LS, is great danger! Repent now and maybe the angels will hold off on their wrath...Hahahahahahaha!
Or just wave you're head in the wind and chant something, maybe that will work for you?

Re: Talking bad against ministers
This may have been alluded to already but is anyone proclaiming themselves a pastor suddenly "God's Anointed" and worthy of fearful respect?
I mean.... anymore than we should be giving the average stranger we run into?

Re: Talking bad against ministers
We were taught as young children never to speak badly or criticize any minister and I have tried to practice this for 68 years. The scriptures say: "Touch not mine anointed and do my prophets no harm"> I'm not about to judge who is anointed or a prophet. I pray for them and leave the rest to the Lord.

I think some of them believe it, and others let it pass becasue it "reinforces" the standards they preach. I think very few, if any, of them allow it, knowing in their hearts it is wrong. And the obvious question is, "How can they not know?" The only possible answer I can come up with is returning to it "reinforces" what they preach so they don't want to look into it any further. In other words, they dont know because they really dont want to know.

But, you can also do your best to not support someone through action (or inaction). I hold those "amen!"ing LS to be just as guilty as him or more, especially if they say "I don't personally believe that" in private.
Using LS as an example, it is good to lift him up in prayer, but don't support him with encouragement to keep doing what he is doing, or offerings -that is unless you agree with what he is doing to which it is your right do to this pesky thing called the 1st Amendment.....

touch not mine anointed is often used out of context....

Re: Talking bad against ministers
Talking about anyone, in general, isn't cool. I don't get the elite "ministry" category... it's quite funny.
If people are doing something wrong, confront them in private. If it's not reconciled, confront them with another brother.
However, there are also times when the person has not wronged you personally, but the things they are saying need to be corrected. It's not so much a personal bash session as a correcting of their error.... especially important if the error is grave. Sometimes a person is known for a particular idea and it becomes impossible to discuss that idea without the person included, though it's a fine line between malicious people bashing and intense subject wrangling --- or maybe that line isn't so fine.

Yup. Everytime I've heard it used it was.
