And, Hoovie, not only is MO getting snow themselves, but all the snow KS got last night will be blowing in on top of it.

here, the snow must be blowing away as fast as it's landing. We have supposedly gotten over 4", but it looks more like 1/2". Grass is still showing through, very little on roofs, driveways, or sidewalks. That means that whatever the prediction is for Hoovie's area, he can add about three inches from mine.

Well we have ice on trees. Now the wind is beginning to blow. We are suppose to get substained winds from 25 to 30 mph and gusts up to 40 mph. They are expecting downed trees and power lines.  :

We have some places that are nearly bare but many drifts are o er my knees. 30 mph winds. My wife just freaked out because she found snow infiltration around a door... Doesn't excite me - this house is 107 years old. It's always going to leak in a blizzard.

I just got an email that my office is closing at 3 local time. Dontcha think it should have been closed early this morning since no one went in and probably worked from home? The things that make you go "Hmmmm..."
