Television has placed us in a TRIAL. We are in a TEST in regards to carnality and spirituality. So, I don't think Television is the issue after all. But rather it seems to be an issue of carnality and spirituality. Television seems to be the object or focal point that has brought forth this spiritual test that we are FAILING. We are getting a big fat "F" on our spiritual report card.

My thoughts as posted almost 2 months ago:
Issues that are and will be propagandized by both sides:
Holiness vs. Evangelism
Small Gov't vs. Bigger Gov't
Justice vs. Injustice
Spirituality vs. Carnality
but really this issue boils down to money, power, ideology and influence ...

No waffle for me, my friend.
But, in a few days I'm gonna have my hand in your pocket for that PROMISED steak...at Outback or Saltgrass. Count on it.

We need you to be the Gen Supt. I'm sure you can show the rest of us hypocrite, lazy low lifes how it is done...in fine fashion.
Anyway, I have no idea why you addressed this post to me.

I apologize. It wasn't meant to be addressed to you personally. I just saw both yours and KS Preacher's post referring to the problem being TV. I don't mean to offend either you or KS Preacher. I'm just tired of hearing "TV is the problem" when the problem is more than television.

No need to apologize.
I don't see T.V. as a problem. Attitudes and spirits are the problem. If it wasn't T.V. there would be contention over something else. T.V. just happened to be the contention de jure. Another day, it will be something else.

There have always been problems in the Church. Always has been. Always will be. Thank goodness God doesn't demand perfection to move on people and to bring renewal and revival!
We have what we desire and are hungry for. Every service I have the option and the opportunity and the privilege of reaching out and receiving what I want and need from the Lord. He's always there!

Your right, BOOM, I was extremely blunt and didn't sugar-coat what I said and some may have been offended.
I didn't think about the other person's feelings before I wrote what I wrote. Thanks for pointing that out to me.
I need writing lessons from Bro Strange.
