A ticketed event doesn't always mean a fee was charged. I have been to a service out here where TD Jakes was going to minister and they ticketed it because they couldn't have too many people in the building because of the fire code. Do we know FOR SURE that there was a fee associated with these tickets?
Just $10 to hear someone beg for money. Believe me, there'll be some sort of special offering taken, some sort of money oriented message preached.
That's the nature of the beast. It's about M-O-N-E-Y.
I clicked the link. Unbelievable people are now having to pay to see so called Preachers. And yet where else could the prosperity message lead but here? So pathetic. The all consuming money preaching drove me out of the Pentecostal/Charismatic circuit many years ago.
Am I Pentecostal? Sure? Charismatic? Sure.
But this mainstream show time stuff that goes on is ruining souls almost as fast as they come to Christ.
Bill Godair's church really seems to be growing. It was just a few years back that he was meeting in a smaller "multi-use" type facility. Good for them.
Not a fan of PW. Just so everyone knows the facts. The $10 charge is for "guaranteed seating"...the Church members have free seating. This seems to be a special service not a regular church service and due to the big names will attract a lot of people
$10 isn't that much for a ticket and guarantees there won't be a few thousand angry people standing outside not able to get in.
This does not mean less people can get in either. The absurdity that had the not charged manybe 300 would have gotten the Holy Ghost has no basis in reality
On the other hand, I would have an issue with them taking up a special offering or putting on the "pay for faith" dog and pony show we've come to expect from TBN

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

It says free seating for "covenant members". Wonder if that means those who have pledged tithes to them?
