I was very moved by her songs, especially loved the song about the Lion of Judah, and how Jesus came first as a lamb, but he will return as the Lion of Judah. She really does seem anointed, as far as what can be judged on a youtube video.
Also, it was awesome to see the heartfelt worship coming from the many young people gathered there. They weren't "juking and jiving" to the music, as I've seen at most OP youth gatherings. The worship seemed real, alive and spontaneous. Thanks for posting the video. It was a blessing to watch the unhindered moving of the Holy Spirit.

That blesses me friend to know others can see it.

Re: Life Changing Contemporary Christian Music
Now when I was comparing 70's Christian music to todays this is the kind of songs I had in mind. Many of them were maybe not in the deep worship vein like Misty but were quite edifying like when you were out driving somewhere or just around the house.

Anyway Im really glad for anyone who was positively moved by Mistys session I posted. I cant relate much to the "Pentecostal" type worship. Neither the hymns. Neither the pop Contemporary stuff. Yea there are exceptions.
Misty is not just about music. The hard hitting devotion comes through with her.
So the original question starting with the earlier thread "Is contemporary Christian music wrong"?
What Misty has done IMO is totally awesome!

That is interesting. Particularly in light of the fact that she is said to be one of the founders of IHOP and is on staff there.
However keep in mind you did read that on Wiki where accuracy is sometimes lacking and opinions rule!

Michael you can't worship like that and not know who you are worshiping. The Spirit causes you to worship.
Her worship does not seem to bother Whom she worships. He inhabits the praises of His people.

So are you suggesting that God hears the prayers and worship of people who do not have the Oneness doctrinal view???? That His Holy Spirit actually moves among them?????? Blasphemy!!!!! (no boy trantrum emoticon)

I worshipped the Lord to the YouTube video playing in the background
Sweet presence of the Lord filled the room. Maybe it was an oops. My ears are pierced.

You can be spirit filled and be lacking a lot of truth. No one thinks more highly of Misty than me. Truth is truth.

I am really glad I came up through the Jesus Movement and Charismatic movement. I have far more personal experience with such people than with Oneness Pentecostals in general. Nonetheless Oneness and Acts 2:38 is scriptural truth.
That does not by itself make someone more sensitive to Gods Spirit. Those who are sensitive to it will in time move on with God.
