No disrespect intended, but Charlton Pearson always looked like a "Rev. Ike" of the 21st Century. For those who don't remember Dr. Fredrick Ikrenkoter III ("....better known to many as Rev. Ike") see Charlton Pearson.
I can hear him now as he closed his radio program....

Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

I know CP is whacked out, preaching a false message, and his gospel of inclusion is heresy but...........
Anybody here offered up some prayer for CP and his wife? Wouldn't it be awesome that they stayed together and his mind was healed? Wouldn't it be a testimony to the Grace and Mercy of Jesus if his ministry could be restored and his message be truth?
I wonder were we'd be if the Lord gave up on us as easily as we give up on others............

BL, though off on his doctrine (he was at one time COOLJC and under the teaching of Bishop RC Lawson), Rev NEVER said it that way, at least that I can remember.
Always the articulate one, he would not say "wit" or "caint..."
