Re: The Effects of A Loud Shout | Raul Alvear Jr.

Howbout when the LORD JESUS shouts!!!.....

1 Thes 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

I want to hear Him shout, howbout you all?

We will be noisy in heaven too....

Revelation 19
19:1 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:...

5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.

6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

If we would hold our peace the stones would cry out.

shout for joy.

Re: The Effects of A Loud Shout | Raul Alvear Jr.

If somehow we could get all the people in the world, at one time, in one accord for 1 million years, shouting at the top of their lungs and giving God praise. It would never be enough to thank him for one drop of his precious blood.

I know I could never shout enough, could never praise Him enough. But I gonna die trying!

The lady will be 90 this year and was in service with us on Sunday.
How do you know that she died?

What I do at a sporting event has absolutely nothing to do with how I should worship. My relationship to God is in no way shape or form anything like my relationship to a football team or any other sporting event. It is extraordinarily shallow to make that comparison but I don't hold you personally responsibile for it since it is a Pentecostal tradition to make that analogy. LOL!!!
Yep! I've never shouted at a sporting event.

What a WONDERFUL MIND-BLOWING SAVIOUR!!!!!!

Not arguing your point, but on that subject, according to scripture(1?) in the ot God inhabited the praises of his people Israel, yet in the nt God inhabits His people. To me, to say "God shows up when we praise him is a bit conflicting, seeing he has already shown up and resides in us if we are filled w His spirit.

After hearing multiple times from the pulpit "the bible says God inhabits the praise of His people", I finally looked it up to verify that's what it says...it doesn't really say that...and the focus of that verse is actually Gods holiness and not so much "inhabiting Israel's praise."

that would seem to be arguing the point, with all due respect.
