Or are you saying that only take your daughter(s) out with their mother because you want to avoid having to face circumstances like that? Sorry bro.... one time I was at Meijer's and she had to go. And they had no family bathrooms. I took her in with me. When she's out with me, I'm her wing man. I've got her back... and I always will.
So, I've taken my little girl into the men's room with me. She was shy at first, but after a couple times she'd square her shoulders and allow me to show her to a stall or quietly stand against the back wall while I took a leak. Most of the men in the men's room would man-up, act decent, and move along. When she'd have to go, I'd stand outside that stall like a guardian and only open that door to assist her if she needed help.
Oh, and speaking of "help".... When I worked for the MRDD, I knew a dad to had to routinely take his wheelchair bound daughter with cerebral palsy into the men's room because he had to assist her.
Some of y'all are acting so "holy" you'd let your daughters mess themselves before manning-up and being a dad who could march them into the men's room and stand by her like a hero.

5 year olds are generally able to use the bathroom by themselves. If there isn't a family bathroom and I'm alone with them, then yes i've sent them into the ladies room and waited outside the door.
Men's bathrooms are usually disgusting, filthy, and flat out nasty. There is no way I'm subjecting my girls to that. I am barely willing to subject myself to that environment.

Re: "A Pentecostal Approach to Transgenderism"
I have an active part in my children's life, but I can probably count on one hand the amount of times each year me and the kids go out alone without my wife. I stay home with my kids occasionally to let my wife get out, but we have the understanding that she is the keeper of the home. I may get crucified for saying this, but it was my wife who is commanded to bear children. BTW this has been a harmonious set up in our home.
I always paid for them, loved, taught and disciplined them but my wife has tended to most of the household stuff. This culture of the family roles of men and women is a lot of the problem. My wife has never bore the burden of supporting our family in the 12 years of marriage. I am sure she would eagerly help if there was a need, but that weight is mine to bear.
I think we have far too many career women nowadays and not enough mothers seeing after their homes. Why do we fill we must have:
car for every licensed driver
children must each have their own room and bathroom
Annual vacations that cost thousands
name brand clothing
latest technology
etc....
Our homes were better when we didn't have all the stuff and had a biblical model of the family.
