These are my thoughts, as I've heard it before and I'm glad you brought it up, Brad!

Only cursed from the Garden and not His presence but you have a consolation -a choice.

We can look at the choice as a curse, but actually it is the same as a parent turning a child from harm. He is not condemning us to Hell, but giving us a choice. We don't have to go.

It is the same as not following the rules of employment. If you don't do what the job description demands you will lose that job. The reason is, as you well know, a company cannot function correctly with everyone managing and directing their own rules. Plants have safety meetings in order to get together and discuss directions for further safety.

God has a plan - He says, "He will keep thee in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee", - really, that is what every human being seeks - peace.

The drunk gets drunker and the druggy gets higher - trying to find peace.

God is the only one that affords - perfect peace.

I could agree with that, but I emphatically know that Satan has a hand in things. It's just the way it is.

I do agree, some do blame the Devil for everything. It's much easier than admitting you are wrong.

I also believe that if you are in some particular sins Satan continues pushing and you are ebbing and flowing between giving yourself over to him and/or your carnal nature. That's just what I believe.

PO, satan is not a novice at deception. He went at Eve with a question..."Hath God said...?!" And his tricks today are not new, but the same deception in a new package.

He asks the question and when we begin to reason with him, as did Eve, and entertain his question in the recesses of our mind, he eventually plays his hand, and says, "Ye shall not surely die...!!"

It's all about deception...

A man [or woman] is drawn away of his/her own lust and enticed. At this point one has two options?
1. Give in to their lust/sin
2. Repent, and take the escape route that God promises

If you choose #1. Then you again have two choices:
1. Continue to give in to sin until it brings spiritual death, or
2. Repent, and turn to God who is faithful and just to forgive us our sin.

Blessings, Rhoni

But Satan cannot be everywhere at once. I believe evil is a part of God nature as well, this is something that was learned at the fall. Adam and Eve did become like God , in that now they knew evil, as God does.

I believe when we say Satan or the Devil we are meaning the influence of evil that is present among us. Obviously, there is more involved than him being in one place as a person in Africa could be waging while a person in America is waging.

I believe most are evil due to their own nature~
