You said it all, or least much of it. I tried to avoid too lengthy of a list.

I'm 40-something (left UPCI in my 30's) and my generation was decimated by our predecessors. The mean spirited, jealous and vindictive attacks just got to be such an insurmountable barrier to both ministry and life in general.

I interpret some of the "edgy" stuff that you saw at the NAYC as an attempt to reach out to those younger than myself who are similarly put off by the way things are.

Personally, I'm touched that someone in the org seems to care about us.

There is some truth in this post! I'm encouraged by the boldness of the younger generation!

I applaud him for doing so.

In the FWIW department: the "Mac" character in the ads made a remark about being "off to New Delhi..." as if CLC students have the opportunity to travel on missions trips like that.

I "don't know where these pics came from" other than that the first was a small group of CLC students who ministered at a Ladies' Conf in Europe this past spring and the other is from a group of CLC students who ministered in India at around the same time.

Again, CLC is most definitely not responsible nor even remotely possibly in agreement with my personal rants. Nothing I say is either endorsed or supported by CLC or any of its staff and students. In fact, I was forbidden to even attend CLC many years ago. But still, you can get a fully Accredited AA degree there in just two years and obviously opportunities at gaining some relevant life experience.

Good commercials, but why would CLC try to get young people to come to their college by slamming other colleges? We can only assume they are slamming other UPCI bible colleges. That's very tasteless.

Peaceout
I wouldn't send my cat there either, but I did send my son. He loved it and turned out pretty good I feel. I would send my cat to a good UC Bible College because they would be real effective at training him to keep everything inside the litter box. BTW, was that not the message? We think outside the box! That can be very offensive to some people.

He isn't the only one, however that does not mean Segraves does not believe in baptism being necessary either
