Hence, it seems that our questioning the union / reason for divorce makes us the bad guys to some. That's all.

What difference does it make if she is gay? Accept her, support her
As opposed to what, rejecting her, telling her she's no good and rotten? He gave good advice. You can love the sinner without loving the sin. If she's gay she's going to be gay until God does something to change it. It would be nice if apostolics weren't so quick to throw people in the trash can.

To some perhaps...not to us all.

Rico, you didn't read the first line of what Dr. P wrote..."What difference does it make if she is gay?"

It matters greatly if she is gay!! That does NOT mean she is rejected, unloved or thrown in the trash can, but one cannot pretend it doesn't matter.

Dr. P is advocating tolerating sin...just accept it...no way!!

If one of my brothers were an alcoholic or drug addict, would I just accept it?! Of course not!! But with homosexuality, it is the politically correct thing to just overlook it...no way!!

As with any sin, one must love the sinner and hate the sin, but never, EVER tolerate sin...JMHO!!

Your definition of "tolerate" sin could be different than others!

It's a fine line of showing Christian love with boundaries set and pretending all is well..."Whatever you want to do is all right with me!!"

I have two cousins who are gay...they know I love them and respect them as people and family members.

They know that I would do almost anything in the world for them, but they also know without me saying so that I would not, for instance, allow Joe and his friend to spend the night together in my home.

It is not an 'in your face' approach...I do NOT condemn. It is my desire that my genuine love and prayers will convict.

However, I do NOT approve and they know it...not sure if this make sense...

I am sick over Paula's divorce, but I think she has every right to divorce him. I know things that are not public as of now.
I hate divorce but it happens in every organization.
As far as a union with Dr.Phil and Bishop Jakes, that show needs his message.
Bishop will be able to minister to people that will never watch christian television. JMO
