Let's be fair: Some UC's have been hanging liberals out to dry and refusing to befriend them or fellowship them for some time. Obviously there is no love lost from either side. I firmly believe if 4 hadn't passed, #3 would have promptly been used to remove dissenters. JMHO

Boom,
I was just a teen in high schhol but recall in the early 80s when they preached that "MONITORS" were going to be the demise of Pentecost.
Now, all these same preachers probably have computers with DVD players. what's the difference ?? no one even knows what a monitor is anymore- at least the youth don't

You guys need to move to the inner city and plant a church and do what Jesus said to do instead of playing church in a building that someone gave you!

AB, my Father-in-law worked 50 hrs a week, Pastored, and served as a District Official.
He knocked doors and was tireless in trying to get people to live for God. Not all men are intent on kingdoms, some are intent on seeing people saved.

I see #3 as way more scary than #4.

It was designed for greater enforcement ... something the cons have been whining about for years ... especially when they realized the AS did not have the power they intended ... the power to police then would be given to the district boards.

Sounds like a very shallow heritage to me!

resolution #3 is only scary if the ultra cons are in charge...
with the moderates and the liberals in control, resolution #3 is not scary at all, IMO...

I am really not sure what to make of this. Is this a rebuke?
I have spent my life working at saving people - I don't have time to worry about someone advertising on TV or thinking the UPC is going to the dogs because someone wants to take the Acts 2:38 message to their community.
I am not trying to offend anyone - it just seems totally insane to people outside your movement that people are losing their minds and weeping in the hallways and writing Eulogy's over advertising on TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why don't they do something about their preachers looking at porn on the INTERNET!
