I'm sorry about what you're going through, OneAccord. I'll pray for you and your wife.

And you're right...situations such as yours put things squarely into perspective.

Praying that God's strong arms of love will uphold you and your wife and that his wonderful peace will surround you. His grace is sufficient, but having read of what you've gone through in your past I'm sure you KNOW. "...been through enough to know He'll be enough...."

Dear OneAccord,
We are praying that God will grant your wife physical comfort and hold her in His loving arms while she takes this journey. We are praying that He will give you physical strength, comfort your heart and bring His sweet peace to you.

Agreeing in the bolded with Coffee99.

I have been praying for the words to say to you, Bro. OneAccord,

Dear Brother, lean heavily on Him. Trust Him with all your

heart. He loves you and your precious wife like no other.

Through one of my greatest trials, I cried out

to God, "Lord, if You will give me peace of mind,

one day at a time, I will trust You. I may never

understand, but I will trust. That was one of the

wisest decisions I would ever make. When I looked

to Him and allowed Him to take my hand and lead

me, I learned He would take care of me in any

situation. He has NEVER failed me. Did that mean

I never suffered loss. No, but I learned that His

Word is true. His grace was and is sufficient!

Blessings,

Falla39

From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. (Psalm 61:2)

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!
"For who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has become His counselor?
Or who has first given to Him?
And it shall be repaid to him!"
For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things,
to whom be glory forever.
Amen.

(Romans 11:33-36)

I haven't read this whole thread, but let me say my prayers are with you and your family. Every person is important in the family of God.

Oneaccord, I am sorry to hear of the dark valley you are walking through right now. I can but beseech the Lord for his tender mercies for you & your wife, & for the will of God to be done!

May his courage & strength be you & yours!

I too see no need for endless debate & quarrels that only stir up strife & divide.

We need each other in the bond of love more than ever in the day we live in.

Even so come quickly Lord Jesus we are all longing to put on our heavenly robe!

In Jesus Name!

I agree in payer with Sis. Falla and all the others here on AFF. OneAccord, some situations do put things into proper perspective in one's life. Cherish the time you have left with the blessing that God granted you for many years. She was on loan to you...she belongs to God.

May Jehoveh Shalom grant you both peace during this time.

In Jesus Holy Name.
