It's really rather wise because of how open the terrain is here.

The 22 Long Rifle was a gift from my father for my 16th birthday.

We have turkeys, deer and pheasants all around our house.
i lived in illinois for a couple years, long time ago, all that game around sounds like heaven a little , just a little, sure do love my rem 1100 20 guage, killed many deer with it, lol,dt

The trouble is, there is very little public hunting ground around here.

Gotta know somebody or own a farm.

Re: Calling all gun owners

I own a 20 gauge double barrel shotgun and a Remington 870 20 gauge.

My son owns a Remington 870 Express 12 gauge, an Ithica model 66 single shot 12 gauge, and a Marlin bolt action .22 rifle.

He wants to get a couple hand-held guns, but I told him NO WAY! Besides, he's only 16!

We might not be in this state when he's 21, but no matter, he can still wait!

I'm just glad I don't have to worry about my kid taking his arsenal to school and shooting up the place!! Yikes!

Re: Calling all gun owners

Ahemmmm, my turn...

Remington Model 870 20 gauge pump
Remington Model 1100 12 gauge semi-auto
Browning Bar 30-06 semi-auto
Remington Model 742 .243 semi-auto
Remington .22 bolt action (model unknown- I'm at work and can't look)
TC Black Diamond .50cal muzzleloader
.22 magnum revolver - gut gun (once again, model unknown at present)
PSE Braun Compound bow.
Several hunting knives
A couple pocket knives
Several fillet knives.

And this is just for ME alone.

Theres also a Remington 12 gauge pump that belonged to my uncle that my husband tries to claim.

And then theres my husbands guns and countless knives, swords and medieval stuff.

Of course, you know how it is...

WHATS MINE IS MINE AND WHATS HIS IS MINE!

SO MY LIST COULD BE MUCH MUCH LONGER!
