Re: WPF Musician to Play for Trinitarian

I dont have a problem with them playing for anybody. But you cant take the stand the WPF has ( NW is on the executive commitee and MY is in the general commitee) on issues and then do something that is this controversial IMO!!!

Re: WPF Musician to Play for Trinitarian

I have a deep burden for trinity folks...and have been often talked about (behind my back) for this burden...
If we mix just to be seen that is one thing if we go among them to try to help them that is another thing.
I haven~t read these posts and this all may have been discussed...am sitting bored waiting for time to arrive to catch a plane...

It is my understanding that this was a civic Martin Luther King Celebration and they had been participating for years. Again I wouldn't do it but it is nothing new.

Not sure about the WPF, but I personally know Bishop W does...or at least he did when he was my pastor back in the day.

Re: WPF Musician to Play for Trinitarian

To be very honest I am confused. The biggest compaint the now WPF had with the UPC was the vote to allow TV advertising. The purpose of advertising would be outreach. But the same people who were against that can play on the same stage with someone of a different faith and an event that will be seen on TBN and thats ok b/c they consider that outreach. To me thats like preaching against oranges but drinking orange juice.

Now, Bro. Epley what if they asked you to preach...
I went and spoke for Christian Businessmen Association...go where doors open and you may help someone...well, that is my thoughts...yes, and I did mention Acts baptism and oneness...
well...we all have our opinions...hope all is well with you and your family.

Yes I would preach at St. Peter's or the Mormon Temple. I would not do what they did but I am not castagating them for it. They may have sung I'm a Pentecostal.
Didn't know y'all wasin the States and now you are already home.Glad you had a good trip.

Is there some scripture against facial hair that I missed somewhere?
