Seems to me he was discussed on this forum (or one of its predecessors) a while back and the UPC tried to disfellowship him and he went to court and stopped the process or the UPC backed off or something like that. Maybe someone who knows will see this and set the record straight.
One has to smile how impotent the organization is. Shows how the organization has a little bite for such a big bark.
Even if the movie flops by human standards, it doesn't mean God didn't call the preacher to make the movie.
One has to smile at how different people have different perspective...
I would not smile at that fact. I find it sad to say the least. Unlike many, I do not drool at the prospect of the UPC or any other church group, failing in any way.
If this film flops, as did all the other ones he was called to do, does that mean that God called him to make bad movies nobody will ever see at the expense of many of the church members?

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
my question is who will be held accountable when this thing falls apart and people's faith is broken?
This thing is headed into a ditch and those who believe in this guy will eventually be soured on God and we all just sit back and watch.
Their church is but a shadow of what it used to be before all this silliness started. I guess it's to be expected his family still supports him, but this has gone on for a decade or more since he claims he got his mandate from God and there has been a LOT of money already spent and gone. No movie came out of it except total flops that never made it to any screen anywhere...all that money...all that time and effort. The church membership has shrunk considerably

so is this a new story or are we rehashing a previous failure?
has anyone looked RG in the eye and forced him to deal with the FRUIT of his labor?

I believe God works in mysterious ways, and He's demonstrated that to me in my own life.
I dont have enough information here to say that what this man is doing is not of God.
I would put this under.... So he still has a chance? LOL! Talking about a bomb! I guess though anything remotely good that comes out of this film would be made to justify it as a move of God.

So you think any religious organization should involve itself in a prolonged and fruitless lawsuit over something that ultimately affects very few people? That would be a wise use of church resources?
A legal battle over something that isn't really hurting anyone? Over someone who is not affecting anyone or anything outside of his own church? Really? You would advocate a legal battle over that?
That doesn't make me smile, that makes me scratch my head.

It is a matter of a ministerial license, not a church affiliation. It would cost a lot of money to deal with, and quite frankly, the money isn't there. Not for something that isn't physically harming anyone. And do you think this doesn't apply to a lot of men who hold license? Trust me, he isn't the only wacko out there. Part of wisdom is choosing your battles.
And actually, the people who do attend his church, seem to love him.
