I could care less if I'm accepted "ecumenically" or not. That doesn't mean I have to discount what God has done and is doing in the lives of people and the FACT that these people have God working WITH them and IN them the same way He does with us.

In no way am I saying we will need to adandon our core doctrine. I am saying that if and when the world of Christendom begins to suffer heavy persecution we will need each other. The name calling will stop. We will appreciate each other.

Well, I hope not, but I agree with you. When a baptist missionary is killed with a sword or a spear or he is having his head cut off by a muslim gang, I don't think they are asking him if he is oneness or Trinitarian.

Makes me want that - why can't we see this without paying a massive price in liberties?

Wow, and I was trying to be nice today. What have I said that is so offensive? I have said that there is coming a day when the sniping between Oneness and Trinitarians will stop because persecution will force everyone who identifies themselves as Christians to work together.

I have heard as much railing against the Ecuminical movement from the mainstream against the world council of churches as I have from oneness folks who believe the Trinitarians want to infiltrate their ranks.
