Thad, Kutless has a point! Conservative Apostolics value distinction, but the males blend in with American culture for the most part. It's the women that are mostly targeted for distinction. They must look like the given Apostolic church culture which is very distinctive against the current American culture.

My wife (Jeanie) does keep the outward standard,

wears skirts and dresses,
has long hear,
does not wear elaborate jewelry
