Matt, you are a nice fellow. I am truly happy that there are young men out there who want to live for God and do their best to do the right thing.
However, please come back in 20 years and say you have never been in debt to the bankers.
Eventually, you will want to own, rather than rent a house. Very few people will rent to own these days. Chances are you will not have the money to plunk down cash for a home.
As for education, there were no grants to young people when we were young. Most of us had to go into debt for a student loan to get through school and had to work on the side for our living. You are going to school on our dime, which is a gift to you from us.

No debt, here, except for the mortgage!
No major credit cards either, I learned the hard way.
Just a few years ago I was in six figure debt to everyone.
With God's help, never again!
