We are not called to be apostolics. Christ mandated to follow Him. Paul says to follow him as he follows Christ. Most apostolics can't even follow Paul let alone Christ.

Which brings the question...do we glory in being "apostolics"? Or are we to glory in the Cross and follow after Christ?

It all began when certain liberal pastors started letting this particular American past time into the church!

It could be a great source of income for the Kingdom if God blesses you with pool playing skills and wisdom for the gambling.

Ha! Good one Brother Sam!
People gamble playing pool? I always thought it was just a game to play for entertainment.

Re: The Trouble With Apostolics is...
Nope. Back in my clubbing days I used to go to a high end lounge where they played a game called "golf"... you had to hit each ball in , in order and in consecutive pockets... ex. the 1 ball in the top left corner, 2 ball in the left middle pocket, 3 ball in the lower left pocket, 4 ball in the lower right pocket , 5 ball in the middle right pocket, etc etc. ...
These suit and tie business men would bet anywhere from $50 to $100 per hole/ball. A losing game could easily cost you a thousand dollars or more.

I was always horrible at pool. I mean really really bad! So bad that many assumed I was hustling them. lol
I'm much better at poker but even then cannot compete anywhere near the big leagues.

Strange as it may seem, the more I drank , the better I shot, up to about 8 beers anyway, then it would start going down hill. Never was drunk enough to lay money on the table though.
