Re: Bro. Lee Stoneking -WNOP
Is it wrong praying for the healing of people who aren't oneness pentecostal who are sick and suffering?
Personally, I don't think it is.

Obviously not, and no one thinks that. Requesting prayer for a oneness pentecostal doesn't imply that a person wouldn't pray for or request prayer for someone of another religion or no religion at all.
It's silly to make this thread about anything else other than a prayer request for Bro. Stoneking. It's not about anyone having to give account for their prayer list.
For Pete's sake.

Re: Bro. Lee Stoneking -WNOP
Personally I have no problem praying for anyone, anywhere, anytime!
We all need prayer. I carry a little vial of olive oil in
my purse. When I visit the hospital and am asked to pray for
the one I am visiting, there are usually others that want prayer
too. The hospital is a place where no one has a problem with me
praying for them, no matter what my faith or theirs is.

Re: Bro. Lee Stoneking -WNOP
So where WERE all those prayer requests for the Pope and others by these non-Oneness people all this time?

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Re: Bro. Lee Stoneking -WNOP
I never heard/or saw the term "Holy Magic Hair" until I saw it on AFF and then it spread all over the internet! The term did NOT come from Bro. Lee Stoneking. I fear for those who sought to make light of a teaching (and it wasn't called Holy Magic Hair either) of women not cutting their hair. Those who have twisted and caused women/ladies to feel unattractive, unkept, undesirable, etc., because they didn't do or look like the world, will reap the results of their deeds. I do not say this to be ugly or mean. I have lived long enough already to see the wages of not having,or using the wisdom they should have. There have also been those who were so super-spiritual they got too far on the other side of the road. There a ditch over there too! (quoting my late father)! Staying close to GOD and being led by the Spirit, will keep you safe and secure! HE will keep you BALANCED!

You pick which of the 2 is a witch?????
Lee Stoneking has preached on the power of hair and thus has caused many people to walk away from God because of his teachings. I praise God that at least some of us used his crazy teaching to open our eyes. The Bible is very clear that because he is a teacher he will be held more accountable for what he teaches. Pull your head out of the sand! Or in better words repent for believing the lie about hair. Here you go you like the scare tactics maybe God is trying to get the attention Elder Stoneking and his teachings by allowing his heart to give out......... Just using your theology......not mine!

Pentecostal ladies stop cutting their hair long before Lee Stoneking preached! PERIOD!
Even before my paternal grandmother who GOD raised from her deathbed in 1926, and brought the Acts 2 message of salvation to their small town in 1933, the doctrine of uncut hair had been preached. Back then people received the Holy Ghost and allowed God to lead and guide them. They prayed about most everything. The practice of Pentecostal ladies cutting their long hair didn't began with the One God Pentecostals. It began with the Trinitarian Pentecostals and other groups. I can remember an older Church of Christ lady who would have looked more like a Pentecostal if it were not by the hugh ear "bobs' and bright red lipstick she wore. She had long hair fixed up in a simple, yet attractive hair style. Many groups besides Pentecostals have believed in uncut hair.
I'm telling you, you men, who have known or have been taught truth, but departed from it, and married Pentecostal girls who were raised to not cut their hair. Then you convince them that it is okay to cut it and give them permission, your marriage is not secure.(There may be exceptions). He/she that knoweth to good (right)and doeth it not, to him/her it is sin! James 4:17 "Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin". You know not what you do. The problem many times is a LACK of the revential, respectful, fear of the LORD. The fear of the LORD is not only the beginning of wisdom, but of knowledge and understanding. Has absolutely nothing to do with fear tactics, but a genuine, healthy fear of the LORD GOD!
If you knew the truth you would know that I love and care enough for you all to tell you the truth about the matter.
If Lee Stoneking taught something that caused people to walk away, shame on them as they were not well grounded anyway. What a pitiful excuse to walk away from the One who paid such a price for them.
