No I don't agree with Calvin on anything except predestination.

I don't believe it because he did but rather because I see it in scripture. So I would not at all consider myself a "Calvinist" anything.

I have not read more than about 10 minutes of his teaching since I was a Christian.

Re: Poll: Is Gods Love Unconditional

It is my belief that God does not force anyone to worship or believe in him. He wants those who willfully do so. With that being said I would not say we are predestined. But he is all knowing God. He knew us before we was even in our mother's womb. He knows who will make it to heaven. We still have to go through the process.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance

Michael really many Oneness Pentecostals could belief in predestination.

The whole time I was in UPC, I always heard you have to get the revelation. God will give the revelation to those He wants to save and everyone else is out of luck.

Re: Poll: Is Gods Love Unconditional

I believe that God's love is unconditional for all mankind. But in demonstrating His great love for us, He himself died for us to show us the lengths HE was willing to show His love to us... and so, in order for us to show our love to Him, we must in like manner as Christ died, also die out to our flesh, live an overcoming life over sin, take up our cross and follow Him.

You explained it already.

"Men hearing this truth accuse him of being unjust. Paul replies it would not be just to tell God what he can or cannot do with his creation."

It is God's plan of salvation not ours. We have to follow his plan to be saved.

Jesus:

John 15:21

21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

As to our initial salvation we are not saved by any righteousness we had done. According to our present walk he will love us if we continue in his commandments.

John 15:9-10

9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
I agree. It is not unconditional. no such teaching in scripture.

Showing he loved is not unconditional love. Mankind as a whole received a promise of provision by his giving himself. However men individually conditonally must receive his provision. So in reality no his love is not unconditional as to receive love one must obtain it first.

you do realize that is a contradiction. You said his mercy is unconditional yet you place repentance as the condition. Even coming to him is a condition without repentance. God does not just give something without cause.
