Re: Calling on the Name of Jesus (at baptism)
Does Yahweh work the same as Jesus when casting out demons?
Just curious.

That is an excellent question. Also was God confused when He healed all those folks when the name of Jesus was called over them?

I know the English and Spanish pronunciation both work, for I have seen it with my own eyes!

I hope that gently but surely many Christians will eventually start calling him by his proper name instead of a translation or transliteration.

I agree with all this. Jesus is the most wonderful name in the English language. I still use it. Yeshua is the original.

Expecting or hoping everyone will revert to an assumed "Hebrew" pronunciation or spelling is ridiculous.
The apostles NEVER insisted the Gentiles ought to pronounce the name with an imitative Hebrew mannerism.
Therefore Sacred Namism is NON APOSTOLIC.

No.
Demons flee at the name of Jesus!
I guess if someone has a problem ordering a Hot Dog in Hebrew? They may experience some difficulty casting demons out in Hebrew?

Trins make the same argument. They say demons go out and diseases are healed by people who are baptized into the titles.

Really?
I have never heard of that.
Maybe demons enter into a person who is baptized in titles. Yet, I never heard a Trinitarian say such a thing about the baptism in titles. Not saying you are wrong, I just never heard this before.
