Amen. Without shedding of blood is no remission of sins. An innocent life (Christ) had to be taken.

And Cain repeated the error with offering veggies, but Abel offered blood.

Notice they hid after the clothed themselves. And why did they hide?

Gen 3:10 KJV And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.


Seems like they thought they were covered, but when the VOICE/WORD came, they realized the truth. Still not enough.

Also notice that all fruit in the eatrh had two things in commoon, and als in the forbidden fruit.

Gen 2:9 KJV And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Gen 3:6 KJV And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

The killer was the DESIRE TO MAKE SELF WISE. Exalt self. Is that not what legalism does with all it's knowledge of good and evil?

So why were they afraid? I believe that they hid because they felt threatened;
after all, did God not say they would die?

One other thing. Adam and Eve did exactly what we have all done when we
(yes you too) have been caught in error or sin: hid in the permissible things
of God (all the other trees in the garden). Some folks hide in the pews, some
in the chorus, others in the work of the temple, and I dare say, some even hide
behind a pulpit!

It seems they saw their nakedness, and thought they solved it, until God came and realized it wasn't good enough. They said they hid because they were naked.
