13Brothers, I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead...

Re: Changing To Preterism from Rapture Doctrine

This is yet another passage that preterists will not explain in public.

They think this event happened thousands of years ago, and only talk about its' "other" meanings in sealed rooms.

Only the gullible and naive buy their "other' meanings for this passage....

Ezekiel 28:24 And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord God.

25 Thus saith the Lord God; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob.

26 And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the Lord their God.

Attention all preterists.

You say that all O.T. prophecies are fulfilled.

When did this happen?....

Indeed so!

We have been included into the future promise(found in Hebrews 8 and Jer. 31) of Millennial Israel....

Heb. 10:15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

Good explain how the early church which received the the baptism of Holy Ghost on Pentecost and were Judeans need to wait for yet an additional promise.

NOT

The day of Pentecost had nothing to do with US, it was all about the nation of Israel. Where do you come up with this stuff Sean?
How in the world Pentecost can be about some future promise to the nation of Israel, when not one Gentile was saved for several years after Pentecost. And even then the apostle to the Gentiles always went first to the Jew before reaching out to the Gentiles.

You are right about one thing, the Gentiles were included into the promise to the Jews, but NOT SOME FUTURE PROMISE!

HAHA! Man, Sean is really twisting and torturing scripture in Hebrews. Wow.
