Nicodemus, have you ever belonged to a church that was/is part of an organization?

Please understand, I’m not against church’s UPC or WPF. Im against the pyramid we’re seeing that with the UPC and now the WPF. Look at how pyramids were constructed, that’s how it is for other organizations.

Yes ma’am I was for several years. It’s been 20 years since I was, but indeed I was. I was part of it when preachers would take the TV out of there home to sign there membership and then bring the TV back into their home.

That’s surprising!
Pastors were doing this back in the late 90s early 2000s because of the by laws of the church concerning TV. It was right before Rev. Paul Price had that fallout over the voting in of acceptance for Television. UPCI has been going into mainstream Christianity for several years. WPF was formed because all the “stuff” the UPC was letting in. How can two walk together lest they be agreed? Become a member of the UPCI and get invited to a meeting and preach about Jezebel, divorce, homosexuality etc. you wont be a card carrying member for long. There is a UPCI church in Austin, TX very well know Pastor (I wont say his name), has told his congregation to limit they’re worship, and speaking in Tongues in fear that it might offend visitors. Is every UPCI church like that? No its not, and yes I believe there are churches that have people receiving the Holy Ghost. The pyramid destroys it doesn’t build, men on top on men. The Bible says a prophet is subject to a prophet, the moment men have authority over other men so they can climb the ladder of the organization your going to have problems. That’s what I’m against

Are you against a pastor having authority over other men?

Surprising that you can't broad brush the UPCI? Don't get me wrong, I was there, and done that myself. But learned from my friends and enemies that every man's own perception is his reality. Bro, I have heard the same story over and over again. All about the hypocrite, and rarely hear about the hero.
How UPC preachers were carrying out their televisions, signing the affirmation statement, then dragging in the B&W GE television to watch Andy Griffith. An old pastor's wife use to tell me, "make your words soft and sweet for one day you may have to eat." Bravo! Hear hear. Bro, my friends, brothers, and others who are UPCI didn't do the the television relay race from house to garage. So, my experience differs from your's. So, let's leave it at that. Not everyone is a hypocrite who holds a card. You say you have no problem with UPCers? Cool, then just keep in mind that they all didn't do as you claim.

Well...Here is what Paul thought about unfettered jibbering.
1Co 14:23.. If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?..
