I am glad the posse galloped off into the sunset myself.

I'm not glad. We lost something vital when they 'galloped' off.

Well I may need to forgive them for all the brutal lynch mobs...I'll think about it.
Blessings,

I appreciate your posts, PO. It's obvious that you do a lot of study and research, and I always enjoy reading what you have to say.

Amazing sometimes the dearth of scriptural understanding.
The Apostle Paul, had significant warnings that difficult times were ahead for him personally, ( Acts 20:23) , yet God sent a prophet ( Acts 21:11) to give him the same message in person, for the following reasons, 1. either to shore up his faith, 2. confirm what he was going through was pre-ordained, 3. and to let him know that God knew, sometimes that in itself is enough.
I can't explain why the Holy Spirit does what he does, but it does seem that it might fit into the reasons above why the Holy Spirit chose in a personal, real way into interrupt our church service to tell us that something was coming our way that would cause tremendous trouble, but that the church would still be triumphant regardless and to let our light shine in darkness.
Anything wrong with that, then take it up with the Holy Spirit.

Bro Keith, maybe I just need to shut up......I haven't made myself clear at all.
I do believe in prophecy. I know that God uses men to speak to the church. Most of the time it's through the pastor.
I have a problem with these people who have made a 'career', if you will, holding prophecy meetings. So many times it's just entertainment, and they are so far off base it's not even funny. I know this for a fact.
Anyhow, back to the election night......

Indeed, we did induct Ferd as the Petulant Cavalier.
It's nice to be missed. As for Rhoni's comments, oh well, when one is in the wrong and then hands the "lynch mob" a rope and points them to a tree one shouldn't get too upset over the results.
