First off, we do find interest on loans in the NT, it's called usury. Nevertheless, none of the things that you mentioned have anything to do with the church which is the Body of Christ.

This is a popular but very inaccurate philosophy.
"God didn't lay out a specific plan for the New Testament church, therefore we are free to do whatever works best" That is not supported
anywhere in scripture. Jesus gave very clear teaching on leadership and structure. Paul was very clear on the structure of the NT church. Nowhere, was there a provision for a central organization to put a stamp of approval on a man's life and then require that man to pay money or lose his approval to preach or be in fellowship.
What a corruption of the New Testament teaching! The most disheartening thing is how many UPC'ers simply don't care what the Bible says beyond one verse in Acts.
