I did NOT mention standards YOU did evidently it was on your mind maybe the Lord is leading you back?

Back to what? I have more convictions now than I had previously. Previously, I had a manual and an organization tell me what my convictions were to be. Absent of that, I have to listen to the Holy Ghost.
Wow, come to think of it, I guess the Lord IS calling me back!! Thank God, I have been listening.

Great response, MOW! It's great to see you go toe to toe with Bro. Epley.

The interesting thing is that all I did was assert a principle with no specifics. I allowed everyone to "fill in the blanks" of their own choosing. I would have thought that most would agree, at least in principle. I mean, don't we all agree that to add to the WORD is to have the plagues of scripture added to our lives and to take away from the WORD, our names will be removed from the book of life.
It appears that some even thought that I was referencing to one or more of the "steps" of the "3 step plan."
It would also appear that there are some who think that I believe that EVERYONE is saved.
That is really amazing to me since I have numerous times explained and clarified that I do not believe in easy believism.
I'll take the criticism as it comes. Some can say whatever they want about me or what I believe. However, the fact remains, that I see numerous people repent of their sins, baptized in Jesus' name (baptized 2 adults and 1 youth on Sunday) and filled with the HG AND see them lived CHANGED lives and develop a relationship with the Almighty.
If that's not strict enough for some of you..............too bad!!!! I'm still not going to add made made rules to them and then tell them that they're salvation issues. I'm non-denominational. I don't have to fear some organizational pressure coming down on me from some office holder. Wow, I guess I'll just have to answer to the ruler of the universe. Amazing that I feel much safer in HIS hands than I do in the hands of men who think they have the same authority as the Apostles
Oh and BTW, Epley has called me far worse at other times. I fully respect his right to be deluded. (no offense taken)

MOW, I have an honest question concerning what I have bolded here. Revelation 22:18 is very specific when it says, "I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book."
Wouldn't this book be referring strictly to the Revelation of Jesus Christ? There was no Bible, or New Testament compiled as we now know it, so this book wouldn't be referring to them. I have always thought these words were limited to Revelation.
