And as Renda said, we don't know all the facts of what happened. That is again why vigilante justice is illegal.

Please point out my contradiction.

1. We don't allow convicted felons to bear arms and deny them this constitutional right, so it is not just that simple.
2. I am not of the opinion that we should all lose the right to bear arms.
The criminal who doesn't have the right to purchase a gun still manages to get one.

And yet that still doesn't stop them from obtaining a gun.

I couldn't agree more.
That is probably the reason I can appreciate his opinion on this issue.

Re: Road Rage at it Best - Good Grief!

This is an amazing thread. I am stunned. Imagine a family member making a bad judgment call, and pulling out in front of someone... Then imagine them being shot at for it. This is absolutely idiotic. I dislike bad drivers as much as anyone, but get a little perspective. Unbelievable.

I encountered an idiot drunk driver out here on 301, 3 calls to 911 by mutliple drivers and 15 miles of following this guy and not a single patrol car showed up, even though they were getting mutliple calls that the guy was drunk and all over the road. Makes you want to take matters into your own hands.

Hey Bro, how was your Thanksgiving?

I got a similar story. Coming out of DC on NY AVE, this dark blue SUV cut me off, was swerving all over the road, driving really slow then driving unsafely fast.

So I followed him onto US 50, then to the BW Pkwy and then to an exit that lead into Greenbelt.

I called the cops 2 times. They were no shows. At the exit, there were 3 cop cars parked at an Ice Cream Shop. I stopped following the idiot driver and told the cops about him, in person. After a few minutes of discussing it, one of the cops took off after the guy. By that time, he was way out of eye shot though.

The CRIMINAL is the guy with the gun. If the first driver was in the wrong, which he certainly could have been, then whatever happened to "vengeance is mine, saith the Lord"?? Why do you think it's ok for any person to take control with their own hands?
Well, I would say that the guy who had the issue may not realize that vengeance belongs to the Lord; however, we as Christians know better.
