It is a matter of a ministerial license, not a church affiliation. It would cost a lot of money to deal with, and quite frankly, the money isn't there. Not for something that isn't physically harming anyone. And do you think this doesn't apply to a lot of men who hold license? Trust me, he isn't the only wacko out there. Part of wisdom is choosing your battles.
And actually, the people who do attend his church, seem to love him.

I know some folk who loved their pastor. they even got divorced because he told them to. Their adoration did not justify the sins of the pastor who led many into near ruin.

I feel the same way, but I also know that a group of men who know much more about this situation than I do (or even want to) discussed it at length, prayed about it, and came to that decision. For me to second guess them, with out even having the benefit of the "whole" story, is just not smart.
If it were up to me, a lot of things would be different! And everyone breathes a collective sigh of relief that it isn't up to me....
