I think of this whenever I hear someone starting to teach a list of "don'ts" concerning marital relations (for those who are uncomfortable with the "S" word).

My wife heard a speaker who said, the only things not allowed in marital relations (for those afraid of the "S" word) is anything involving other people, animals, or porn, unless of course you make your own!

I think this Scripture means that marriage is of great value and should be thought of as such and that marital relations are not dirty. What a married couple chooses to do in their marital relationship is not my business and as long as it is consensual and not forced it should not be anyone elses. And I don't see these as details that need to be discussed on a public forum.

I was not asking whose business is it.
My point was, do you think that Paul by the interpretation of your scripture is saying that "anything goes?"
You have clarified it. It is your belief that anything goes as long as it is consensual in a marriage. There are those who would strongly disagree with that assement.

And most of the ones who strongly disagree probably come across like Gladys, the next door neighbor on Bewitched. I have met them and learned a long time ago not to give them the satisfaction (but, can have great fun baiting them!).

Re: 2 Relevant??: Org churches to tackle Sex on Su
When I was in Bible College, I remember Bro. Gurley teaching on sex in a marriage... two key points stuck in my head.
1. Don't do things that cause pain.
2. Don't do things that either one of you feel guilty about.
I thought that was great advice, and now apply that to my marriage.... Thanks Bro. Gurley.

I was taught that a couple is free to do whatever they enjoy in their love life as long as it was strictly between them, mutually enjoyed, and both consented to it. If one partner was uneasy or felt shame, it shouldn't be done.

Where I came from it was taught that anything aside from the missionary position was probalby not in accordance with the Lord.
...and we were to leave them milkers alone too.
