I picked them up from school & my wife was with me & she was with the kids so she was in on it too.
We were driving home & my oldest (acting the part) was upset & said "the school gave us all a letter saying that every second Saturday kids will have to attend school & that they wanted parental input by such & such a day!"
I said, "show me the letter?"
Remember, I had forgotten it was April Fools day.
She said in a mad frustrated voice, "I was so angry & other kids were too, that we tore it up & threw it in the garbage!"
I got a little perturbed with her & told her, "how am I supposed to know what the info is & who & how to get back with input?"
She followed a bit more with a sob & angry story.
I told her that I was a little frustrated that she would tear up an important correspondence from the school & that we would talk about it when we got home & that I was not happy.
Then she & all the kids yelled out, "April Fools!"
Rotten kids!

Hey, cigarettes and wine aren't sins. They're just substances that can be abused and cause harm to the body when used in excess. Eating fast food and drinking pop regularly causes just as much damage to the body as smoking. And for the record...wine is good for you in moderation.
Now, the dirty magazine... well... you'll most likely sin with it, so I'd say it's a sin to buy one.
I just had to throw that in. Go on with the conversation.

Re: I Met Will Smith!
Just curious, was our buddy Will Smith in your corner of Canada recently? Or were you just picking on him?

I have a question for all here, would I be compromising my convictions to do something like this?
Is this a little bit extra money that will come in handy?
The part that I would be doing needs no acting experience so that isn't a problem.
What would you do?

I would do it in a heartbeat. The next post say's who is Will Smith. That is like asking, Who are the New York Yankee's...
Some of the folks on this forum need to get out of the time capsule.

Re: I Met Will Smith!
For a couple of seconds you had me Ron but after those couple of seconds I started grinning and saying to myself this is an awesome April fools thread.
What I am bummed about though is that Will isn't really there to film MIB III because I really like those MIB movies and wish he and Tommy Lee Jones would make another.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
