Re: Weather Across the Country

14 degrees here - - feels like 4! Only to keep getting colder.

Now, that is COLD for our area!!!!

Thursday they are predicting 2-4 inches of snow, so people are freaking out around here! It shuts the place down.

Well, our disadvantage is we don't have plows - - - and with this cold weather, the snow will just compact and get slick as snot. PLUS, no one around here even remotely knows how to drive in that kind of weather!

Re: Weather Across the Country

the side streets make it so hard to get to the main roads which generally are cleared quickly - when you can't make it down your driveway, it's just better to stay in. Stay warm and enjoy your new home if you get to stay in!

As I said earlier... 17 here this morning. Our 1.5 lb Miniature Yorkie insisted on going outside with my wife to feed the animals and she is shaking like a leaf now.

Nope, I'm blessed to have a home and heat!

They found one of those in a cemetery?

Re: Weather Across the Country

Houston may get record lows this week. WE are expecting really cold temps as well.

I don't think we will see any snow. I think we will just see really cold rain tomorrow.
