I love it with baby carrots. It's also good with tortilla chips.

I discovered that I don't like the Athenos brand at all. Blech. But Sabra's is wonderful!

I am just curious. Is there ANYONE who actually likes Sloppy Joe's? They usually refer to this as "barbecue" in the Midwest.

I like sloppy joes. Certainly not considered BBQ in Texas, though.

Something similar that is made in my circles is 'onion burgers'. Similar to sloppy joes, but instead of bbq sauce, it's an onion soup sauce that is mixed in. It looks just like someone has already eaten it! BLECH!!! I cannot abide the looks or smell of the stuff, much less eat it!

my 16 year old loves sloppy joes, so I make them for him. They're ok. Not anything I'd go out of my way for, certainly tolerable.

I read the funniest thing today on Facebook tho - gotta tell you! This girl in Michigan posted that she was going OUT for oatmeal that morning. I'm like, "WHAT? OUT for oatmeal?" Good grief! What is this world coming to? First they put it in silly little packets. Now people want to eat it OUT. Like it's that hard to make a bowl of oatmeal! PLEASE!

We eat Sloppy Joes occasionally but it is definitely NOT barbecue!!

Quality of Olive Garden often depends on location. The one by my house is very good. I do prefer Carrabba's though.

You're right, Tamor. We've never called Sloopy Joes "barbecue". Those are two TOTALLY different things.

Now, Olive Garden............ I like it. I do enjoy their bread sticks if I can dip them in Alfredo Sauce. Otherwise, nah. I like their salad. It's decent. But I agree - Carabba's is much more authentic. But MUCH more expensive. At least what we had was!
