Scroll down almost halfway to "videos" and the clip is called, "Medina answers questions".
http://www.chron.com/
On the clip, she is saying that what she heard or understood was that Glen is asking her if people should be questioning the government and she is saying, yes, they should.
This is the exact question and answer from the Beck show:
GLENN: Right. Here's then let me be more frank and ask you the question: Do you believe the government was any way involved with the bringing down of the World Trade Centers on 9/11?
MEDINA: I don't, I don't have all of the evidence there, Glenn. So I don't. I'm not in a place, I have not been out publicly questioning that. I think some very good questions have been raised in that regard. There are some very good arguments, and I think the American people have not seen all of the evidence there. So I've not taken a position on that.
GLENN: I think the people of America might think that might be a yes.
Glenn asks if she thinks the government was in any way involved on 9/11 and Media says, "I've not taken a position on that."
How plain of a YES is there? She is lying in the video. Plain and simple.
If you are on her side on this, then I would suspect that you are also a "truther".

Let's kill this junk right now, I'm not a "truther," so you can forget about that accusation. I don't believe our government was involved with the killing of thousands of civilians. I don't believe in conspiracies like this.
Just because I think it's a stupid question which has absolutely no relevance to her duties and responsibilities as governor - doesn't mean I'm a "truther" or even support Medina. I honestly know little of her.
But I do know that what Glenn Beck did is nothing short of a cheap-shot, political hack job. I would be questioning who he got the email from and who he's supporting.
Again, I'm not a so-called "truther." I do believe is the government could have stopped 9/11. There were a lot of warning signs ignored in the transition between Clinton and Bush's administration. A lot of things not followed up on that could have let to the murderers before 9/11. But as to our government authorizing the mass killing on 9/11 - that didn't happen.

She still isn't backing off of her "truther" stance and is also adding the "birther" stance to it as well.

Re: Debra Medina Shakes Up GOP Governor Race In Te
This is my thinking on what is going on with someone like Medina. The Tea Party, for me, is an important movement. I don't want it tainted with radicals.
Quote:
The Tea Party movement has to decide whether it wishes to be a footnote in books on the 2010 election or a long term influence on American politics. If the objective is the latter then the multitude of Tea Party organizations can’t afford to be hijacked by troofers, birfers, or whatever. This is not an easy task given the lack of organization structure but it is critical if the movement is not to be successfully labeled fringe.
Now I know a lot of folks are going to read this as an anti-Tea Party hit piece or a reflex action by an “Old Guard” GOPer. If that is your takeaway, fine. I would hope that more would grasp the vulnerability of the Tea Parties to all manner of snake oil salesmen and the non-negotiable requirement that you have to be serious to be taken seriously. The onus is on the Tea Parties to vet people operating in their name and speaking with that imprimatur.

Published today, surprising poll, considering the furor from her Glenn Beck "interview," better known as Beck's political assassination attempt.
Quote:

The most recent BusinessPulse Survey asked readers if the primary election were today, who would win their vote. Out of the 1,582 that answered, 31 percent picked Tea Party favorite Medina compared with 26 percent choosing Perry. About 20 percent backed Houston Democratic mayor Bill White and 14 percent chose Republican U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison.

That doesn't surprise me as her Facebook fans have been growing. I'm not voting for her. If she wins, I'm fine with that. I'm just not casting a vote for her. If she actually gets something accomplished while in office, I would reconsider on her second term. Right now, it just seems like she is grabbing the coattails of the frenzied tea partiers and riding it hard.

Re: Debra Medina Shakes Up GOP Governor Race In Te
Wow, just read the early voting begins tomorrow, Feb 16th! Didn't realize voting began so soon.
Interesting news about Sarah Palin ... seems she also must be a "truther" (according to Becks definition) as she called for a new 9/11 investigation. Ron Pauls camp has been running with this for a while, but the recent Glenn Beck political assassination attempt against Debra Medina heated this back up.
So PO, how do you and Beck explain this? I mean, according to Becks hit against Medina, Palin is like Hitler.
I know you'll gloss it over and try to explain it away....but the fact is, Medina wasn't prepared for the ridiculous question. It has nothing to do with the office she's running for and doesn't really matter one way or the other. Because she was unprepared, she gave a quick answer which was later clarified.
Glenn Beck compared her to Hitler because she stated there are questions that need answered....
Sarah Palin has said essentially the same thing, but I doubt Beck will attack her as viciously as he did Medina because both Beck and Palin support Rick Perry. Beck said he wanted to "french-kiss" Perry after Medinas interview.

This is what you are referring to, I assume.

What Palin said in this clip:
"I do, because I think that helps us get to the point of never again and if anything that we can do could still complete that reminder out there."
This is clearly a security issue comment and not a governmental conspiracy comment.
The guy in the clip goes on to mention the air quality that he questions. That is what he is wanting to investigate.

Re: Debra Medina Shakes Up GOP Governor Race In Te
When did wanting to know the "truth" become an "insult"?
Now it is an insult to question where BO was born, they are called "birthers".
I could careless what the media wants to feed the masses and how much they want to swallow.
I for one don't believe BO is a legal citizen of America and IF he was they would have already produced the evidence to prove it.
Should we question our government? You betcha.
Our government has lost its intergrity and now goes behind closed doors to do business.
So if that makes me a truther or a birther so be it. I want to know the truth in all matters.

This reminds me of the Pearl Harbor attack. How nearly 50 years later it is coming to the light that the President had been warned and others of the probably attack of Pearl Harbor.
So in light of that and the fact that Medina just mentioned about the large portion of the 9/11 investigation being covered up or hidden from the public, which ever term you want to use.
I didn't realize there was a large number of people questioning 9/11 as being a government cover-up. I guess I will need to do some research and see why they are even discussing this.

Esther,
I'm cool with that, girl!
I like Rick, have always liked Rick, will always like Rick.
My point is that we are having a divide in the Tea Party Movement. It's not coming together in a united fashion because you have the extremist trying to take over, you have the moderates and then you have the GOPers wanting it. It's just a mess. I'm just never going to side with those that are on the side of extremism. There are worse people out there than Debra Medina. But, I do acknowledge, that we all have a radical side that can be appealed to. LOL!
Gotta run some errands. I certainly don't want to divide friendship over this. It will all work out for Texas. It always does.
