Really, Joel? Really?
So he thinks a miracle must take place in order to partake? This is Michael Scott (The Office) logic.

What an odd conclusion to come to.

If someone were to say to me John 2 is my precedent for whether Christians should drink wine...from the context I would assume they drank it by the gallons!!!

Fair enough. Most of us will respect your convictions and conscience before God.

Would you do the same for others?

Is John 3:16 enough for you?

Or do you have to explain it away with the rest of Scripture?

You didn't even quote the full context.

Wine produces mockers; alcohol leads to brawls. Those led astray by drink cannot be wise.

Takes more then one part of scripture out of context to prove no drinking wine.

Word like this:

Deut 14:26

26 And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine , or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household,
KJV

God told them they could buy what ever their soul lusteth after that included wine/strong drink.

Prov 31:6-7

6 Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.

7 Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.
KJV

Proverbs say give wine to those of a heavy heart.

Ps 104:14-15

14 He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;

15 And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.
KJV

God gave wine to make glad the heart of man.

gottta love the word.
