I can't believe any supporter of BO would have the nerve to mention debt under any other president, Republican or Democrat! The spending under Reagan that led to an increase in debt was primarily Defense spending which led to the end of the Cold War and the breakup of the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact. Debt worth incurring I'd say. Besides, the level of debt under Reagan is a drop in the bucket to this president. And even with some debt, Reagan created a business environment that led to 21 million jobs and paved the way for the internet age and the prosperity of the 90s.

Criticize Reagan for increasing the debt but support a man who rewrote the definition? Reagan's a midget compared to the King of Debt.

Re: Buffett Rule

Well, as far as politics go, "I don't use," but good point.
