When the Administration wants to be careful not to offend Muslims, yet seem to go out of it's way to be offensive to Christians that might be considerd promotion of Islam, might it not?

If you really wanted to debate with sam on this, then start out asking him to prove it, instead of calling him a racist.
If I doubt anyone's Christianity on this thread, it is not sam's.
It seems as though he hit some kind of hot button with you.
I have always respected you for your posts, because you usually could bring along some facts and did not resort to name calling or accusations.

Sam isn't the issue. You can't defend Obama's record and your blind supprt of him. The only logical justification for supporting Obama is party loyalty, ideology and embracing the lie that Americans cannot exist and subsist without an intrusive, nanny state, overreaching, overbearing federal govt interfering into every corner of our lives. The cowardice lies not in a feckless statements about Obama's religious preference but rather in the unwillingness to admit that Obama took a bad economy and made it worse, took advantage of the crisis at hand to attempt to fundamentally change our way of life and that he has failed to deliver on almost every promise he made in 2008. AND the fact the he called Bush "unpatriotic" for increasing the national debt to new highs and turned around and made Bush look like an amateur when it comes to debt and deficit spending. The cowardice is not holding this prez accountable for his 3.5 years of governance and blithely passing the buck off on Bush.

i am sorry if i let you or anyone down, but sam has been making insinuating comments for a long time. i really detest apostolics who make jokes about race or treat the race issue lightly. apostolics should be above and beyond race in my opinion. just sad that comments like obama is promoting islam comes up when he has killed more terrorists than bush. he continues bush's policies in the middle east. when bush promotes freedom and democracy for muslims it is kosher but when obama does it, it is promoting islam. the double standard is sickening.
