Re: Pastor openly rebukes Evangelist from the pulp
Since neither preaches the truth whatever they do doesn't count. Just saying. A lying prophetess and a lying pastor. Who cares?

You've made it clear you disagree, but I'm curious -- do you believe it's ever O.K. for a pastor to call another pastor out in front of their congregation?
Even if you believe that both speakers are lost, it still presents an interesting question. If you earnestly believed that someone was a false teacher, would you tell them in front of their own church?

The part that I care about is the disgrace that they have brought upon our Lord by claiming to know Him and the acting in this reprehensible fashion. They have now opened another door for the world to accuse us of all being hypocritical do nothings. And that has got my back thoroughly raised.

I figured Eld. Epley would have a comment like that plus his famous "lost as two boys kissing."
I love you, Brother, but don't always agree with you.

No. There are certain ways of doing some things, and calling them down in front of the congregation when you are a guest is not appropriate.

Re: Pastor openly rebukes Evangelist from the pulp
It would seem some of his folks in the Calvary Chapel he assists at were attending the service. If you understand the entire point of the founding of Calvary Chapel was in response to a need for balance in the Pentecostal movement you understand what he means. Chuck Smith was a Foursquare Pastor in the 60s and was turned off by all the crazy Pentecostal behavior. He told the people not to chase after signs. Jesus said the exact same thing. He also said he read the literature the lady provided before hand.
btw, many brothers and sisters in Christ who attend a Calvary chapel have the Holy Spirit and have spoken in a new tongue.
It took guts to call her out and tell his people to go home.

Those black ladies were going to lynch him.
At least the false teacher prevented that from happening. LOL.
What a mess!
And the world looks at that and says: "Hmm, these people are crazy!"
Can you blame them?

Re: Pastor openly rebukes Evangelist from the pulp
Wow. The girl at the end telling the girl recording to back off deserves to have her mouth slapped. And that's putting it nicely.
I'm still trying to figure out who the one recording is, whether she was scoping out the scene or if she was a follower of this prophetess just recording to record...

Re: Pastor openly rebukes Evangelist from the pulp
To be honest, we don't know what lead up to where the longer video begins. From what I can see and hear from Dayna, I almost sense a control mechanism entering the conversation by listening to what she's saying. Once she turns the mic over to him, it's as if I sense a subtle "Well, I'm gonna tell her!" attitude.
He was wrong to address her the way he did, and she was equally as wrong to rebuke him. No good example has been set in this situation, regardless of one's position...

What would you do if someone attempted rebuking you in your own pulpit? I know my Dad wouldn't have tolerated it for a minute!
Personally, I think she probably deserved a rebuke or correction, but he didn't handle it right. Unless you're in a position of authority or influence with someone, how can you correct them?
