I know it is hard to believe but there are hundreds of subjects in the Bible and regarding the Christian life that don't involved the proper formula for baptism or one having the same understanding of the godhead as you.

OP's seem to think that they have an exclusive claim to all "truth". It is rather funny because OP's will read trinitarian's books for sermon ideas, use translations of the Bible translated by trinitarians, yet they don't think they can learn anything from a trinitarian preacher.

WRONG!!!! I just wanted him to answer so that Scott would have a better understanding.

I've read a few books authored by trinitarians in my day. And many times I found more substance than the stuff that comes out of PPH and WAP.

Let's not forget that the golden calf of pentecost... "the altar call"... was a trinitarian invention

My spiritual roots on my father's side are Church of God. He had a brother and a sister who were ministers in that organization many years ago. I am not one of those people who believe godhead issues define one's relationship with God. I might not be in the relationship I am with God today had it not been for my father's connection with the COG. He came to Christ in one of their churches when he was about 40 years old. He got into the Oneness church a few years later in Lincoln, Maine where I was born.

So I thank God for the Church of God and their ministry that brought my father to the Lord. Since leaving the UPC I have had some wonderful times of fellowship with good men of God from the COG.

Wow, it doesn't matter that I have not heard the following song from Lance in over 22 years...the song is indelibly engrained in my mind. A walk down memory lane....

"One thing that I desire of the Lord, that will I seek after....that I may dwell in the house of the Lord, all the days of my life.....Too behold the beauty of the Lord and to enquire in His temple...Too behold the beauty of the Lord and to enquire in His temple...For in the time of trouble...He shall hide me in his pavillion...in the secret of his tabernacle...shall he hide me, he shall set me up upon a rock."

another Appleton song engrained in my mind...actually that one is a Psalm...

Apparently not all of JS's UPC engagements have dried up! I notice I don't see any UPC district meetings on his schedule this year though. No campmeeting preaching for him except for KP's Awakening Campmeeting next month.
He was here at our church and he did an awesome job. We had folks baptized, filled with the Holy Ghost and some healed. Great service! Jonathan is a great preacher! Just because he is not UPC does not mean anything to us. He preached about having a revolution.
