Well, true people of God are rare, Jesus said that himself... that "few there be that find it..." talking about this way with Him. Finding means some effort and searching is involved...and few requires no explanation... so that's true no matter the other parts of this discussion.
I really don't believe the
Mark 16 scripture was a mandate or command as these folks think. I believe it was Jesus foretelling, or even prophecying if you will that it would be done in His name... not even condoning or admonishing against... but just stating.
But I will not persecute these folks. They are still part of our family. I won't disown them anymore than I'll disown my crazy aunt that shows up and embarrasses everyone else... she's still family.
