From where I am it is more like 4 hours and that would be on the interstate. On the back roads I like it would be more like 7 hours!! Sure sounds like fun though.
If we did not have an animal menagerie that has to be fed and watered I would have ridden out of town somewhere on an overnight motorcycle trip while Mrs. CC1 is gone.
In addtion to our one "official" dog my daughers little possum looking dog she got from the dog pound has lived with us all but a couple of weeks of the last two years since she was rescued from the pound. Then two weeks ago my SIL brought home a 10 week old mutt puppy that is going to be huge for my Marine son when he gets home at the end of September. This puppy was abused and is scared of her shadow. She is getting better but it is going to be a long road. At least she is an outside dog. Anyway I am the zoo keeper while the wife is gone. If I stray more than six or seven hours total from the house there is going to be dog pooop and pee!!!!!
