It can mean both emotionally and physically. Emotionally is a given in any relationship. Of course, we would hope a Christian woman would think first before the physically. The book I am referring to is, basically, not addressing Christians. Although she does quote the viewpoint of one or two.

It's not about commitment. Women say they want one type of guy then go after another type. Men are tired of it. Then there's all the drama that women bring. Per a video that I watched. It was quite interesting. I wasn't aware that this is going on. It's called the sexodus.
