Re: Is supprt for israel really required (V)

Our concern is not being friends with other nations and building them up.

Our concern is to keep this country safe and to look out for our own citizens.

I totally agree, but wouldn't it be in the best interest for any nation to have friends who will help them in time of need like the modern nation of Israel?

Send me money to take my family out to eat.

You make big money and if I make a graph that $100 dollars will look insignificant compared to your annual income.

My family needs someone to believe in them and lookout for them. Do the right thing. Send me money.

Yes, but don't you also help your good friends?

You don't believe that Israel will return the favor?

No. I set limits with friends. If you start giving people free stuff they do not have to have to worry about anything because I will bail them out.

When you help people you handicap them. No need to be careful with my money and be responsible and budget my money. My friend will bail me out.

This is what the US has done for decades. Why don't other nations do the right thing? Don't worry the US will step in and save the day. Their citizens like paying for saving the world.

If you want to save the world that's fine. Use your own money and STOP stealing from me!

All the arguments you have made are the same arguments that people make to fund abortion with our tax dollars. It's going to help someone. We should be there for them. They need our help.

But what would happen if we stopped funding Israel?
