Now, if the local assembly is the Body of Christ (it is), and if the Body of Christ is the Temple of God (it is), and if the Temple of God is where God is pleased to dwell (it is), then to prefer NOT to be in the local assembly is to prefer NOT to be where God is pleased to dwell.

The presence of God is particularly manifest to us in His Holy Temple - which is the assembly of the saints. This does not deny his omnipresence, but it cannot be refuted that God is not MANIFESTLY present at all places in all times. The especial time and place God has chosen to manifest his glory and power is in the congregation of the saints, in the "sanctuary" or holy place of his dwelling.

I would consider you as someone who is afraid of commitment and afraid to enter into a relationship with others in following after God. I would welcome your visits but you can't be JOINED to people unless you actually JOIN TOGETHER with them. I would consider you to be missing out on a lot, and as being stunted in your growth in the Lord, and needing to be released from the bondage of SELF into the liberty of Christ.

If you have the Holy Ghost then God wants YOU to help your brethren. Ask not what your church can do for you. But ask what can you do for your brethren.

For reasons I don't have time to discuss, I don't like people at all don't wanna be around them. Don't feel the desire or need to be around anyone. Don't remember reading where being joined is a salvational requirement. Work out your owns souls salvation. Its like this, for 17 years I was forced to go everytime the doors where open. This meant many nights of revival even on school nights . When I was high school age this meant church attendance before hours of homework. This alone wore me out. I noticed a lot of things were covered up by church attendance. Anyway.... I still wanna know why one refuses to miss a service even because of illness.

You have fallen victim to the myth of "a personal relationship with God". Salvation doesn't occur in a vacuum. We are added to the Body - that IS salvation. We have obeyed the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned live of the brethren, and we are see that we love one another fervently. THAT is Bible salvation.

I - in the flesh - could easily survive alone on a deserted island. I do not get "lonely" if nobody's around. I generally PREFER to be alone, in fact.

But now I do not know anyone after the flesh. If you have the Holy Ghost, you need not relate to anyone after the flesh. Personalities become irrelevant. The Holy Ghost in you relates to the Holy Ghost in the brethren. THAT'S where God is trying to get us to - a true life IN THE SPIRIT.

I stated earlier what I believe. I believe Jesus Christ and him crucified. I do not believe it takes another person or group to get me to Heaven. If I make it to Heaven I know I wont have a reserved keep out spot. However I will have perfect body and mind so it wont matter.
