He is on his umpteenth chance.

Here singing career has not come back to popularity she was at one time.

Also the music industry is not very "friendly" to her genre now.

The music industry possibly handled Michael English wrong to some extent initially, but in the long run it looks like they made the right decisions.

Believe me, his mistake with Marabeth Jordon (First Call) was not his only "major" transgression.
Very true. Her career is not the same. I haven't read her book, "Broken on the Back Pew", but if it could minister to someone, then who am I to say?

Of course, trinitarians are almost as bad (but trinitarians don't rely on oneness folks to translate their Bibles).
The UPC, Chan, does NOT have an official statement that says Trinitarians are not saved. If that is hypocrisy then Trinitarians are hypocrites for relying on a bible (kjv) whose main text is from Erasmus. It's not hypocrisy to use someone elses material as long as that material is doctrinally sound especially since it's not that material that is in question nor the doctrine OF that material that is in question.

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

True but since when did that ever stop anyone?

Given that Erasmus was largely a humanist, I agree.

But it cannot be "doctrinally sound" if it comes from unsaved people.

NLYP, It got worse after the initial affair that brought him down.

I will say this: He tried to make it outside of gospel music, but with little success. He eventually came back to gospel music where he could make a good living.

I question the sincerity of anyone who sings gospel music because he can't make it anywhere else!

ME is now re-married and has a little boy. I won't comment about NOW, but before he got married he was a FAKE!
