I'm not full pret, but the picture is Jews and Gentiles dwelling together. Wolf (unclean) and Lamb (clean). Notice the creatures paired up.... clean and unclean. And children playing with asps shows a time of peace in the hearts of people saved.

Zion and the house of the Lord to which nations go -- the highest of mountains -- speaks of kingdoms (mountains). The kingdom of God in the church. Heavenly Zion, where Christ is seated at the throne. Psalm 110:1. Eph 1:20.

Re: Changing To Preterism from Rapture Doctrine
most of that seems possible--but kids playing with snakes and lions eating grass sure seems to be going out of its way to paint a picture of the futurist perspective.

Just as you had unclean and clean beast all gathered together into the arch with the eight desendents of Adam in the Ark. Judean and Gentile in one body. No more twain but one new creation.

I disagree with the notion that animals were not carnivorous before the fall as those who believe Isaiah foretells a future non-carnivorous creation propose. So, I do not see a foretold restoration of non-carnivorous creation. No death was in the world for MAN alone at the beginning.

Re: Changing To Preterism from Rapture Doctrine
I had to endure millinial futurist preaching Sun am & pm BOTH, this past weekend. Folks still going to be considered very young at age 100, and living way beyond, wolves and lambs grazing together or whatever...sun 4x as bright...lost me

Re: Changing To Preterism from Rapture Doctrine
lol, ya--i am mostly sceered of anyone who claims to know, for sure, what much of that means. But lions and lambs do have figurative meanings that we know about, and those may explain most of it.

so, no lions eating grass? I'm not sure how to deal with that, either--but ignoring it does not seem right. But it could still be figurative, i guess--the lion being Judah.

Certainly not all passages are easily understood.
