Faith is the the primary force in every aspect of living for God. Faith operates repentance and baptism and recieving Holy Ghost. God's grace is provided the plan of salvation.

But what part? Is it in the repentance? Is it when we are baptized? How about the baptism of the Holy Ghost?

Also, can grace be grace if man has to help get grace?

Well, I am what most here would call a "3 stepper". If ALL 3 were NOT required then Peter would not have told the crowd gathered on Pentecost that they must repent AND be baptized in Jesus name and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

The word "AND" ties 2 thoughts together. Therefore, you must repent AND be baptized for your sins to be washed away. There is NO way for it to just be one step. Unitl you get the Holy Ghost you are NONE of his or do we beleive that scripture any more?

JOE

Those 2 words "AND" and "FOR" the one steppers have yet to convince it does not mean what it says. there's just too much twisting scripture to get it where they need it to go. I'd like to embrace one step But sorry I'm not convinced that water baptism is not for the remission of sin- it says it right there hello

If you preach a different gospel than what Peter preached at Pentecost you are NOT saved. I base that on these 2 scriptures.

Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Gal 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

G331
ἀνάθεμα
anathema
an-ath'-em-ah
From G394; a (religious) ban or (concretely) excommunicated (thing or person): - accursed, anathema, curse, X great.

Those are NOT my words but the words from Paul. Will you continue to oppose scripture?

Here is my contribution to the ongoing attempt to "convert" all of us to the Universal Salvation doctrine.

Blah, blah, blah.

Buyer beware.

I mean, how would I survive without all of the enriching dialogue?

See you guys next week.
