No, DedMind, YOU are putting words in MY mouth. I never said that you said it was a damnable heresy or that DA was lost for preaching it. This is ridiculous. You're arguing against things I haven't even said. Sigh.
You said he's in false doctrine. I'm challenging you on that because you THEN said you think he's saved, and I'm challenging you to explain how a false doctrine can save!
I just typed that at 485 wpm....my irritation level has almost maxed out.

When someone gives their word, they stand behind their name. An anonymous person has no "word." We don't have to be skeptical to interact in conversation, but for me, it's all with a grain of salt. And that should be okay since we aren't really talking about anyone personally. We are talking about ideas. Azzan is sharing a perspective toward that idea.
Sorry, but I definitely don't take everything I read on here as Gospel truth. Trust comes with time, relationally interacting with others, etc.
Why a person's gender must be withheld is puzzling, I must say. If you're anonymous, giving your gender doesn't blow your cover.
That said, I don't doubt anything Azzan's said. Even if Azzan is making it all up, there are really Azzan's out there. So that doesn't bother me.

I don't think NOW believes people with different teachings are going to hell.
But if you're teaching says you will perish and go to hell unless you are saved, and you are only saved if you do XYZ, then I'd expect someone to agree that if you didn't do XYZ the way they believe it, that you are going to hell. Make sense?

Easy, Because DA was raised in the truth and was born again according to water/spirit teaching. So I believe he is saved. He has changed his teaching and now mocks water/spirit teaching. I said he is on a slippery slope, but I am not judging his salvation. I don't believe he is teaching the complete truth, which is false doctrine. Anwer my question. Do you believe that water/spirit preachers are preaching false doctrine?

What is "easy Grace", DM?
Can a person be saved the way DA teaches: Yes or No?

For the record, I believe we all have a little bit of "heresy" -- meaning teachings not 100% consistent with the early church. It's which teachings do we make issue of as taking to task. And I think anything that adds to the Gospel (steps, how-to-be-saved manuals, etc) is definitely heresy. I obviously don't think all who believe this are unsaved, but I am nervous for those who are the leaders pushing these theologies. With my theology, I can look back and say there's hope for those who believe in Jesus as LORD and don't perfectly understand grace. However, from those who feel I must jump through 3 hoops to merit salvation, I'm not sure how they could possibly say the same thing for me.

So, for the record, if DA had no Pentecostal affiliation, you believe he is lost for eternity, correct?
Do you believe in OSAS? Hasn't DA turned his back on what you dub as "the Gospel?"
What does scripture say about false doctrine that has to do with Gospel issues? Are they "slippery slopes" or damnable heresies?

But you said that DA is......
....you know, this is goofy. I'm just typing the same things over and over again....
....you said that DA is teaching others something short of the whole gospel. Since the bible is clear about false teachers.....Jeffrey gave you all the verses and they're VERY clear....how can DA be saved if he's leader others to condemnation? You can't play both sides of the fence, DedMind.
No, I do not believe that Water/Spirit preachers are preaching false doctrine. I, myself, am a Water/Spirit doctrine preacher. In fact, just about any preacher that I know of in any denomination is a Water/Spirit preacher.
Now, how I see "Water/Spirit" is probably far different than you see it.
And you're flat out wrong with what you have repeatedly JUDGED DA for doing...he does NOT mock the water/spirit doctrine. He disagrees with your view of it, for sure, but he doesn't mocked.
I just made it to 544wpm on that one. My Mac is gonna blow up.

Good grief, I was so irritated, I didn't even address that part of the lunacy. It sounds like he's saying that once you've done the 3-steps, you can teach whatever the heck you want to and you're fine.
Jeffrey, would you be interested in a copy of WatchTower? I teach that now. But hey, we're ok. We spoke in tongues.
